Wine Tastings, Special Seasonal and Ethnic Cuisine Nights, Cooking Classes

Chef Chouinard has been an instructor at the Art institute of Atlanta, as well as guest instructor at Johnson and Whales in Charleston South Carolina. Hi vast working knowledge of all the finest cuisines makes him a Master in his field and a world class authority on Haute cuisine.

He has sent many of his students and protégés on to the ranks of Executive chefs as well as entrepreneurs.

Chef Chouinard is proud to present his cooking classes in the basic fundamentals of cooking in a eight-part series teaching basic knife skills, sanitation, product identification, seasonality menu planning, basic stock and sauce making (with emphasis on sauté ,broil, poach, basic heat transfer) and fundamental baking and pastry .

We will also be featuring specific classes on ethnic cuisines as well as spa cuisine and on the go menu planning and creating.

Day in the Kitchen with acclaimed Chef Joseph Chouinard!

This is an intensive and customized learning experience for one, courtesy of Chouinard’s Cuisine.

Go behind the scenes and create a five-course meal for yourself and seven to 11 friends in one of our professional kitchens.  After choosing your menu in consultation with Chef Chouinard, our professional kitchen team will assist you in preparing your meal.  Afterwards, adjourn to our dining room to greet your party and enjoy your five-course meal, expertly paired with sparkling, red and white wines, and tea or coffee.

To schedule your cooking class, please call the restaurant and ask for the special events manager.  Our special event manager will work with you to set your Day in the Kitchen on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or at a mutually-agreeable time. Pricing ranges depending on your Menu and wine selections.
